As the voice of the Spanish-speaking cruising community around the world, there is no better place to proclaim the best of the best than at the largest tourism fair in Spanish and one of the 3 most important in the world, FITUR Madrid.
In the last edition of the Cruceroadicto Awards, the winners were announced among the finalists in 16 categories on January 23, 2025 within the many events developed by the section dedicated to the world of cruises. FITUR Cruises.
In a ceremony without any sponsors connected to any of the candidates to be voted, something that ensures the impartiality of the winner, the shipping companies, ships and ports favored by Spanish-speaking travelers internationally were revealed.

FITUR is held annually during the last week of January, providing the perfect moment to proclaim the winners of the previous year.
During these days, the fair brings together the main players of the world tourism industry in Madrid.
The ceremony took place in the auditorium of FITUR Cruises, the specialized section that brings together the main shipping lines, ports and agents in the cruise sector.

In the 2025 edition, 95% of the awards were given directly during the event to the finalists who attended the ceremony.
Most of the winners receive their metope at the moment of proclamation.creating a memorable moment for both them and the attendees.
Subsequent deliveries
Awards that are not presented during the ceremony are made available at a later date:
- Previous editions have been delivered at specialized tourism fairs such as Seatrade or IPW USA.
- They have also been delivered to shipping line or port teams at their headquarters.
- In specific cases, as in 2024, an award was given to the port authority in Miami, or in 2023 to the port authority of Bergen in Norway.

The next Cruise Addict Awards 2026 proclamation ceremony will take place back at FITUR Madrid, the second B2B day dedicated to professionals, in the FITUR Cruises auditorium.
