Completely outsourcing the procedure allows us to guarantee that the traveler chooses the best in the cruise industry with the utmost transparency and objectivity, from the collection of votes to the final proclamation.
Our objective is to act as notaries of the cruise passengers' decision. Each vote reflects real personal experiences that determine which are considered the best options for the ultimate vacation on board.
Methodology of the voting and proclamation process
3 main categories
The traveler chooses their favorite cruise line, ship and port based solely on their personal experience. Our intelligent system automatically sub-classifies by distinctive features, allowing multiple subcategories to be rewarded without complicating the voting process.
This approach means that a single vote can help determine winners in several specific categories, maximizing the value of each entry.
3 finalists per category (minimum)
At least 3 finalists for each main category will be determined among the most voted candidates, although if there are ties there may be more than 3 finalists.
When a subcategory reaches a minimum number of votes, the system automatically determines the finalists for those new categories.
This minimum threshold ensures that each award category has sufficient support from the cruise community to be representative, while the flexibility in the number of finalists respects natural voting ties.
1 overall winner
At the final announcement ceremony during FITUR Madrid, the finalists who received the most votes in each category are publicly revealed.
This culminating moment allows finalists and audience to know the results in real time and the reasons why they were voted for.
The ceremony at FITUR guarantees maximum international visibility and institutional credibility to the process.

They are open to travelers of any nationality who have sailed at least once in the past year. This geographic breadth enriches the perspective and ensures that the results reflect the diversity of the worldwide Hispanic cruise community.
Process in Spanish
While we welcome all cruisers, the voting process is conducted in Spanish as the primary language. This allows us to be the specific voice of the Spanish-speaking community in an industry traditionally dominated by English-language awards.
Participation completely free of charge
Voting is completely free and we expressly prohibit any consideration to participants. There are no giveaways, raffles or incentives that may bias participation, guaranteeing that each vote responds only to the actual experience of the cruiser.
Intelligent and efficient system
Just 3 simple questions generate hundreds of possible combinations thanks to our intelligent system. The minimum number of votes in each combination will determine whether that specific category is awarded, ensuring statistical relevance.
This efficiency allows for a fast voting experience without sacrificing the granularity of the results.
Rigorously pre-selected candidates
Each year, Cruceroadicto's editorial team pre-selects all the cruise lines, ships and ports that have had real cruise activity in the voting year and are accessible to the Spanish-speaking market.
This pre-selection eliminates irrelevant choices and ensures that all candidates are real alternatives for voters.
Technical anti-fraud control
All votes are processed online with IP control to avoid multiple voting. The system automatically validates each participation, eliminating attempts of fraud or manipulation. We protect privacy by not storing voter data, only their answers.
Independent financing
To ensure absolute impartiality, Cruceroadicto assumes all operational costs of the awards. This financial independence eliminates any external pressure that could influence the process or the results.
Total transparency in sponsorship
We do not allow sponsors to be voted on, either during the voting or at the announcement. This policy ensures that no commercial interest can influence the perception or results of the process.
Absolute rigor in the face of irregularities
If we detect fraud or non-compliance with our rules by any candidate, we immediately remove all their votes and exclude them from that edition. This zero-tolerance policy maintains the integrity of the process.
